Glow routine guide: morning and night, in the right order

Glowing skin comes from the order you apply things, not from using more of them. Follow the thinnest-to-thickest rule below, give each layer 30 to 60 seconds to settle, and add one new product at a time.

  1. Step 1

    Cleanse — morning and night

A gentle rice or foam cleanser on damp skin, 30 seconds, lukewarm water. At night, remove make-up or SPF with a cleansing oil or pad first, then cleanse again.

  2. Step 2

    Tone to prep the skin

Pat a rice niacinamide toner onto slightly damp skin with your hands. This rebalances the skin and helps everything after it absorb properly.

  3. Step 3

    Treat your main concern

Vitamin C or a brightening serum in the morning for dullness and dark marks. Snail mucin or a repair serum at night for hydration and barrier recovery.

  4. Step 4

Mask once or twice a week

A sheet mask or cleansing pad step after toning, 15 to 20 minutes. Pat in what is left instead of rinsing, then continue the routine.

  5. Step 5

    Moisturise to seal it in

A cream over your serums locks in water so the glow lasts through the day. Go lighter in the morning, richer at night.

  6. Step 6

    SPF every morning, no exceptions

Sunscreen is the step that protects everything else — without it, brightening work on dark marks slowly undoes itself.

Skincare ingredient guide: what each active actually does

Niacinamide (vitamin B3)
Evens out tone, calms redness and helps fade post-blemish marks. Gentle enough for daily use on most skin.
Rice extract
A soft brightener packed with amino acids. It smooths dull, tired-looking skin without stinging sensitive skin.
Snail mucin
Deeply hydrating and repairing. Best at night, when the skin is rebuilding its barrier.
Vitamin C
A morning antioxidant that brightens dark marks and defends against pollution. Always follow it with SPF.
Hyaluronic acid
Pulls water into the skin. Apply to damp skin and seal with a moisturiser, or it can dry you out.
Salicylic acid (BHA)
Clears congestion inside the pore, so it suits blemishes and blackheads. Two or three nights a week is plenty.
Centella (cica)
Soothes irritation and redness — useful when your skin is reacting or over-exfoliated.
Ceramides
Rebuild the skin barrier so moisture stays in. Pair with anything strong or exfoliating.
